St. Mary and St. Finnan church

Work started in earnest in 2014 to repair, this fine building. Designed by Edward Welby Pugin, the son of Augustus Welby Pugin, who designed the House of Commons in London, the building has suffered from the harsh winters and overcast summers,  and was therefore in need for some TLC. The local congregation / community is providing what it can and the work done has been superb. However, the work is not fully finished yet and more support is always welcome. If you are considering a visit please remember to go direct to the members own web site. They may have snap deals on them which will be worth every penny.  Or maybe the thought of visiting here and relaxing will be enough to enjoy a deserved break from reality!
