Loch Shiel Spring Festival

This has become one of the most important Classical Music events in the Highlands of Scotland. Albeit short of lavish concert halls, the villages round Loch Shiel offer a series of imaginative chamber music venues ranging from the awe-inspiring to the picturesque, and festival programmes are devised to match.

The Road to the Isles

On the map it is the A830 and starts in Fort William and finishes at the fishing village of Mallaig, a ferry point to the Isle of Skye. All the information you will ever need for this part of Scotland is included on this site.

Jacobite Steam Train.

Operates from the the middle of May to the end of October. The service operates on what is accepted as one of the "Great Railway Journeys of the World". The Jacobite also follows part of the route used in the "Harry Potter" movies.

Harry Potter
